We are a family business based in Ireland, about 12 miles south of Dublin. (Click
here for a map.) Since 1991 we have been making and selling
slings and more recently I have got into dyeing. We have four lovely
daughters and a sweet little boy. Our philosophy would be that in parenting
babies need a lot of love and cuddles but not too much stuff; that simpler
is usually better, and of course that breastmilk mends broken legs!
We offer you a friendly family to family service without compromising
on quality or dispatch. We are not out to make a fortune, just a living.
Our prices are fair. Our products are great.
We originally used the name Suantraí (Irish for lullaby)
for our slings. However, since many people, Irish or no, thought it
was either a Japanese word or an anagram of Sinatra, we opted for the
Happy Baby sling.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
I have taken up a new job and between that and my family commitments, I
am unable to continue making babyslings. I am keeping the information
pages online as support for previous customers, but it is not possible
to order new babyslings here. This has been a difficult decision for
me, but it's the way it has to be.
